What To Expect
Power Dynamics
Develop a powerful, efficient swing through focused work on lower-body drive, hip rotation, and barrel path. Our instruction breaks down each movement into simple, repeatable actions so hitters can generate more bat speed, improve contact quality, and drive the ball with authority.
Mental Strategy
Master the mental side of hitting by learning how to read counts, anticipate pitch sequences, and adjust your plan with each pitch. We train hitters to recognize patterns, manage pressure, and commit to a clear approach before they step in the box, so every swing is backed by a purpose, a plan, and the confidence to execute in big moments.
Fastpitch Specialization
Specialized instruction for fastpitch hitters, focused on handling riseballs, changeups, and high-velocity pitching from shorter distances. We teach timing, pitch recognition, and barrel control tailored to the fastpitch game, so athletes learn how to stay short to the ball, drive all parts of the field, and turn tough game situations into consistent, confident at-bats.
Common Questions
Who is eligible for training at our club?
We instruct players of all ages and skill levels, from young beginners developing their swing to elite college athletes and beyond. Every player receives personalized attention to refine their mechanics and elevate their performance.
How can I book a session at the club?
All training is strictly by appointment only to ensure focused time with our coaches; we cannot accept walk-ins. For the fastest response, please text 412-216-4405 to schedule your individual, group, or team session.
Is live pitching available here?
Yes. Highly recommended. Our "Live Drill Series" target specific live pitching needs, including timing for various pitch speeds and swing plane adjustments necessary to compete successfully against high-level pitchers.
What will my lessons entail?
Each session follows a structured plan focused on skill progression. We begin with a mechanical breakdown and tee work before transitioning into high-intensity cage work and situational hitting exercises.
Which attire and equipment are required for my training?
Please come dressed in athletic clothing and tennis shoes (no plastic or metal cleats). Bring everything that you use during your games and a water bottle. If you’re a catcher coming for catching work, bring your gear. We provide the rest of the training equipment for your session.
